My path has not exactly been linear, but I’ll try and touch on some highlights which might explain the meandering nature of what this blog will likely become.
I graduated with a degree in Music Technology and immediately started teaching it.
After nearly 3 years of that and only just having put my teaching qualification in my back pocket, I resigned and started working in Audio Forensics.
Six years later, I sold or donated everything that couldn’t fit into 2 suitcases and emigrated to Colombia with my now wife.
Once you’ve done that, other changes and experiments are not so scary.
So I did some freelance work, some blogging, wrote a small book, worked for a start-up, worked for an insight agency, travelled a bit, got an MBA and adopted a lot of dogs.

All of that was remotely (apart from the dogs and the travelling…).
I am currently the COO of a digital marketing agency working alongside 25 other people.
My plan is to use this blog as a place to help me organise some of my thinking mostly around how to scale bootstrapped remote companies.
